Video and Audio Help

Note that movie and audio files can be quite large. These movies and sound files have been reduced (compressed) to work even over standard telephone lines, although they will work much faster over DSL or cable. The compression reduces the picture and sound quality, but is necessary to accomodate computers and Internet connections.

If you see a big Q where the movie screen or controls should be, wait a minute, and if the Q doesn't become a movie screen, click your browser's reload or refresh button.

These movies and audios require Apple Computer's QuicktTime® which runs on all common computers and is a free download. If you see a BROKEN MOVIE ICON, download the current version of QuickTime. It only takes a couple minutes. The movie or soundfile should work after this installation is performed.

After QuickTime has been installed the movie or soundfile should work. You may see a big Q, and then a TV screen with play, rewind, fast forward controls. Or, in the case of audio only, you'll see just the controls. Once the loading progress indicator has indicated the arrival of the data on your hard drive, you can use the control slider to go to any part of the movie or soundtrack.

The movies are in stereo. For the best listening experience, headphones are recommended.
